Singing Dishes is an interactive installation that procedurally generates a cheerful song while the user is washing dishes. Developed as collaboration between artist Rita Eperjesi and creative technologist Christian Kokott.
This installation uses computer vision to track the user's hands and the washed dishes. Depending on where the user moves the dishes and which objects he or she is washing it adjusts the generated song.
This project was developed during the School of Machines, Making and Make-Believe's CO-JUNE art and technology residency.
